Curling: The Gathering 2020

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have a 9th stone in an end when you really needed it? How about after throwing a perfect draw, making your opponent shoot their next shot with a delivery stick? What if you could enforce a rule on your opponent that they are only allowed to throw outturn stones for an entire end?

If you ever thought to yourself, “Wouldn’t that be nice?,” now is your chance to live out that fantasy and support a worthy charity, The Pancreatic Cancer Association of WNY.

“Curling the Gathering” is a different type of bonspiel. It’s curling, but with a twist! Your team will have the opportunity to bid (using a set amount of funny money, but you can pay to add to your total) on different “Power-Up” cards. Each “Power-Up” card establishes either an advantage you can play during a game or a disadvantage you can wield against your opponent. These cards establish another layer of strategy that can impact the game in unpredictable ways!
